Magnetic Game

The Magnetic Game is a minimalist, sensory activity that combines focus, mindfulness, and gentle competition. Shape the leather cord into any oval form to create your own board, then start placing the stones so their magnetic fields don’t attract each other. If a player causes stones to connect, they take the whole “cluster” for themselves. The winner is the first to get rid of all their pieces.

You can play solo (a great mindfulness exercise), with two players, or even three. Simple rules, surprisingly engaging mechanics, and an instant “mental calm” effect.

This is one of those games that does more than it looks—calming the mind, regulating emotions, sharpening focus, and pulling you away from your phone faster than a notification ever could.
